Project CARS 3 hardware requirements. The campaign will last 40 hours

The Slightly Mad Studios team revealed the hardware requirements for the PC edition of Project CARS 3. Kris Pope also revealed that the Career mode will provide us with over 40 hours of fun.

We know the requirements for the PC release of Project CARS 3.

We know the release date of Project CARS 3 since the end of June. As it will happen later this month, PC users should check if their PC is up to the production. Steam announced the hardware requirements for the third Project CARS. Project CARS 3 minimum hardware requirements: Operating system: Windows 10 (and selected versions of Windows 7) Processor: Intel Core i5 3450 3.5 GHz / 4.0 GHz AMD FX-8350 or better Graphics card: NVIDIA GTX 680 or better (in VR mode: NVIDIA GTX 980 or better) RAM memory: 8 GB Hard Disk Space: 50 GB of available space Others: DirectX 11, DirectX compatible sound card Project CARS 3 recommended hardware requirements: Operating System: Windows 10 Processor: Intel i7 8700k / AMD Ryzen 7 2700X or better Graphics card: Nvidia RTX 2070 / AMD RX5700 or better RAM: 16 GB Hard Disk Space: 50 GB of available space Others: DirectX 11, DirectX compatible sound card

In addition to the hardware requirements, the creators revealed a handful of information about Project CARS 3 on the official PlayStation blog. From a post by Kris Pope (lead designer at Slightly Mad Studios), we learned that Career is about 40 hours of fun. There will also be three new modes in the game. We don't know much about these, as the text only briefly mentions one: based on the Rivals Scoreboards.

Kris Pope also introduced the progression system in the game. The studio wanted players not to be forced to perform certain actions in order to collect the appropriate number of experience points. So we will be earning XP no matter what we do: whether by playing alone or competing in online mode. However, there is a catch - the amount of XP you earn will depend on your driving style. Crazy crashing with a car will drastically slow down our progress, while an efficient, "clean" ride will allow us to quickly advance to the next levels (for which we will receive in-game currency and the ability to unlock new cars). You will also gain less experience points when using the extended driving assistance options.

Project CARS 3 will be released on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on August 28. The new trailer also confirms the release on the Xbox Series X (albeit without the release date). In addition, the pre-sale on Steam that has started today reveals the Polish price of the PC Project CARS 3: PLN 249 for the standard edition and PLN 379 for the Deluxe version. The latter will allow you to start playing three days before the formal debut of the production.
