14 years of graphic progress - FSX vs Flight Simulator 2020
The films that appeared on the Flight Sim channel compare the graphics in the latest installment of Microsoft Flight Simulator with older productions - Microsoft Flight Simulator X (2006) and X-Plane 11 (2017). One of the materials also compares locations from the game with places from the real world.
A video has appeared on the Flight Sim channel on YouTube, which summarizes the last several years of progress in the field of graphics in flight simulators. The material shows a comparison of the locations from Microsoft Flight Simulator X released in 2006 and the latest installment, simply titled Microsoft Flight Simulator.
As you can see, the difference is really colossal - virtually all aspects of the luminaire have improved enormously, from the details of the models, through textures, and lighting. Microsoft Flight Simulator also emerges victorious from the clash with the competitive X-Plane 11 (it is a title from 2017).
Anyway, the new Microsoft simulator looks so good that it even withstands comparison with the real world - which is perfectly illustrated by another movie on the same channel. We would like to remind you that Microsoft Flight Simulator will debut on PCs in a dozen or so days - August 18. It will also be released on Xbox One at a later date.
