Cars in Fortnite, the game will receive more vehicles

Tomorrow, Epic Games will release another update to Fortnite. It is called Joy Ride and will introduce cars that you can drive while playing.

Cars have been around for a long time in Fortnite. Until now, however, they were nothing more than elements of the environment with which little could be done. However, that will change soon. Epic Games announced that on Wednesday, August 5, i.e. tomorrow, their hit production based on the battle royale mode will receive another update, called Joy Ride. While not explicitly stated, it is fairly obvious that it will introduce the ability to drive cars into the game.

With the release of the Joy Ride update (with the number 13.40), the speculations that have been circulating on the web for a long time will be confirmed. They were based on the official description of Season 3 Chapter 2 of Fortnite, which includes a screen showing moving cars, and under it there is the following note: As time passes and the water level decreases, the next locations will see the light of day. And as new roads open, you'll discover new ways to move ...

In addition, on the map in Fortnite you can find posters of four cars - the sports Whiplash (also present in the above tweet from Epic Games studio), Prevalenta hatchback, Bear pickup and Mudflap truck. Most likely, it is them that players will be able to move from tomorrow during the game.
