Early Access Baldur's Gate 3 - Larian alerts and heats the atmosphere
Larian Studios developer Michael Douse has warned gamers against currently pre-purchasing Baldur's Gate III. The company has not yet established cooperation with any distributors or other partners. Soon we should get information on the game's release date in Early Access.
When will BG3 hit Early Access? IN BRIEF: developer from Larian Studios warned players against pre-ordering BG3; the company has no plans for physical distribution yet; soon we can know the release date in early access. Michael Douse - director of the publishing division of Larian Studios - decided to warn fans against placing pre-orders for Baldur's Gate III. In a post posted on Twitter, the developer noted that the company does not yet have any specific plans for the distributors of the physical release of the game and cannot promise that people who are already placing orders from various stores will get anything.
Be careful when it comes to ordering BG3 now, anywhere. We will not have a pre-order period. We have no plans yet to cooperate with physical release distributors or external companies. We did not announce the price or date. We cannot guarantee that you will get anything from them. We also cannot offer support for any transaction via these sites should a problem arise as we have no contract with them. I don't mind selling the keys that are available on these sites, but there is no indication that they will have BG3 in their catalog. Many of the legitimate keys are either retrieved from retail stores prior to going to print or directly from boxes of physical copies. Since we don't work with distributors or other companies for Early Access, they have nowhere to get the keys, wrote Michael Douse.
