The first thing I will do after buying a PS5 is go through The Last of Us 2 for the second time
In just a few months, the plump PlayStation 5 console will go to millions of players who will have to decide what to play on it. I know that I will reach for games from the previous generation first.
Like many of you, I'm really excited about the PS5. One of the few things I hate about my old PS4 (base) is how long it takes some games to fire up. Of course, this issue doesn't apply to all titles, but if you've ever launched Red Dead Redemption 2, you know what I'm talking about. However, the new generation means not only better hardware, but most of all new games. I was surprised myself that I didn't think about them very often. As soon as the "white" hits the floor next to the TV (on the shelf where the PS4 now stands, this "chonky" will not fit), I will not reach for the starting titles, even if such Spider-Man: Miles Morales will offer tempting additional attractions. I will choose top productions from this generation.
When I finished The Last of Us: Part II, even before the storm that raged on the internet after the premiere, the game in question wouldn't get out of my head. She bit into the soul and was not going to let go. Much has not changed since then - maybe I don't think back to the second TLoU so often, but from time to time I get a strong urge to visit rainy Seattle again. Experiencing this story once more, this time knowing all the twists, various interpretations and flavors that the players found. And to finally hit the platinum.
It is no secret that miracles are not to be expected at the premiere of PlayStation 5. Unfortunately, it will probably be years before the games even come close to the stunning display of Unreal Engine 5's power. Initially, many large productions will still be created with a view to selling them on the current generation consoles. That's why The Last of Us 2 will crush the competition with its graphics for a long time - and I'm quietly counting on some improvement on PS5. Even minimal. Yes, that's right, the second installment of The Last of Us is not a production for everyone - like many other games. Music journalist Piotr Weltrowski wrote about it intriguingly: "I don't know if I want to go through it a second time [TLoU2 - ed. ed.]. A 10/10 game, but it's not entertainment. It's different with me. I want Ellie and Abby to go through this hell again. I do not know if you do, but before I play new games on PlayStation 5, I will probably "check" a few other representatives of the classic on this console - maybe I'll finally finish Red Dead Redemption 2?
I will Play The lasy od US part 2
